Ryan Hawk was born and raised in the beautiful Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon, USA. He could be found out and about in nature for his entire childhood; camping, hiking, swimming in the river, skiing, and following his dad into the woods whenever he could. He also contracted some of the excitability and peppiness from his mom that led to his love of teaching. He has two beautiful younger sisters that he still likes to pick on as well as two nieces and a nephew. After obtaining his Masters in Chemistry from the University of Southern California, Ryan taught AP and honors chemistry and coached softball at numerous high schools in the US. In his spare time Ryan loves new food (and lots of it), new cultures, finding new and unknown holes in the wall, video games, and a great nap in the evening after a hard day of work. His favorite KPOP band is Twice and he doesn’t apologize for it.
